What is EVO ICL?
ICL often referred to as Implantable contact lens actually stands for Implantable Collamer lens. It is similar to a contact lens except that it it an implanted inside the eye by a surgeon. EVO ICL is the latest version of ICL which has simplified the procedure and made it more convenient and comfortable for the patient.
The ICL corrects moderate to high amounts of near sightedness (-3D to -16 D) with and without astigmatism. Is made of a biocompatible material that is gentle on the eyes. The ICL is placed in the eye behind the colored part of eye called iris and in front of the natural lens. It is both permanent yet reversible.

How soon can I see after the ICL procedure?
Most patients can notice significant improvement in vision in a day after surgery.

Am I good candidate for the surgery?
You should be at least 18 years of age.
You refraction (Glass or contact lens prescription ) should be stable for at least a year.
You should not be pregnant or nursing.
